Sex offender accused of failing to register taking case to trial.

LUDINGTON — A 51-year-old man accused of failing to register as a sex offender for the fourth time, rejected a plea agreement by the Mason County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office today in 51st Circuit Court and is taking his case to trial.

Raymond Harold Snay, no address listed, was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office. He was offered a sentencing agreement of serving one year in the Mason County Jail in exchange for a guilty plea. The state guidelines call for serving 10 to 46 months in jail.
