Bradford Scott Bachelder, 65, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away on March 21, 2018. Brad was preceded in death by parents Jack and Patricia (Hunt) Bachelder and niece Mikala Raven. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Lori (Raven) Bachelder; children, Carson (Jody) Bachelder, Allison (Kirk) Van Prooyen, Jack Parker, and Allyse Bachelder; six grandchildren; sisters, Kayle (Chris) Anderson and Michelle Terhaar; father and mother-in-law Dean and Marilyn Raven; brother-in-law Mark (Taryn) Raven; sister-in-law Marcia Raven; brother-in-law Chris (Vickie) Raven; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Brad was an avid sportsman and had a true love of the outdoors. He often spent time at the cabin he built in Tustin with his two yellow labs, Max and Ty, or camping with his family. As a talented gunsmith and owner of Bachelder Master Gunmakers for over 40 years, Brad had a passion for restoration of early-American double barrel shotguns which was shone through his craftsmanship.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25 from 3-7 p.m. with the funeral service Monday at 11 a.m. with a viewing starting at 10 a.m. at Zaagman’s Memorial Chapel 2800 Burton Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
