Tires slashed, truck keyed.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office investigated a tire slashing on Mount Vernon Road Monday, Feb. 26, at 1:29 p.m., according to Sheriff Kim Cole. All four tires were slashed, he said.

The sheriff’s office was dispatched to the 8800 block of East US 10 in Branch Township Monday at 4:29 p.m. to investigate a keyed vehicle, Cole said. “A 2008 Chevy Silverado pickup was scratched by an unknown person.”

Other police activity Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 includes:

– 8:21 p.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, US 10 and Tuttle Road, Custer Township.

– 11 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Free Soil Road east of Larson Road, Meade Township.
