With return of snow Tuesday morning, several motorists ran into some slick spots on local roads, causing several non-injury crashes.
The following is recent police activity in Mason County:
Monday, Jan. 22, 2018:
– 12:20 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 16-year-old Bear Lake juvenile was apprehended for marijuana possession and tobacco possession, US 10 and Tuttle Road, Custer Township.
Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018:
– 2:56 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Stiles and Johnson roads, Amber Township.
– 5:48 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Free Soil and Tuttle roads, Free Soil Township.
– 7:09 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 and Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 7:10 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 and Meyers Road, Amber Township.
– 7:19 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, US 31 Freeway south of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
– 7:54 p..m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Jebavy Drive and Rasmussen Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 8:15 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Rowe and Height roads, City of Ludington.
– 8:35 a.m., (Michigan State Police), vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, US 10 and Stiles Road, Amber Township.
– 5:44 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $10 in fuel stolen, 400 block of East US 10 — Scottville EZ Mart, Custer Township.
– 6 p.m., (MSP), a 15-year-old Victory Township was apprehended following a domestic assault, 2000 block of Victory Corner Road, Victory Township.
– 6:40 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10 and Reek Road, Custer Township.
– 10:41 p.m., (MCSO), damaged property — alfalfa field and recreational trespass, Section #30 of Meade Township.
