CUSTER — A 45-year-old Custer man was taken into protective custody following a 911 call of a man who was walking down Madison Street with a gun Monday, Nov. 13, shortly before 8:30 a.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“The call was deemed unfounded and had been reported by the 45-year-old Custer man,” Cole said. “When deputies arrived, the man pointed a broad head arrow out a second story window. He was eventually secured and transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for further treatment.”
