The following is police activity in Mason County Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017:
– 6:08 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10 and Schoenherr Road, Branch Township.
– 8:13 a.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, Darr and Meisenheimer roads, Eden Township.
– 1:03 p.m., (MCSO), retail fraud, 4800 block of West US 10 — Walmart, Pere Marquette Township. The case remains under investigation.
– 2:22 p.m., (MCSO) illegal dumping, 400 block of South Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township. The victim reported finding several TVs and electronics dumped on his property.
– 3:35 p.m., (MCSO), warrant arrest, sheriff’s office, City of Ludington. A 22-year-old Hartford, Michigan man was arrested on a misdemeanor moving violation causing death warrant issued in Kalamazoo County.
– 8:33 p.m., (MCSO), driving while license suspended citation and warrant arrest, US 10 and Wever Road, Branch Township. A 34-year-old Walhalla woman was cited following a traffic stop, and her passenger, a 37-year-old Walhalla man, was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Lake County.
