LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Quijas

-Richard Jay Quijas, 39, of 206 N. Main St., Scottville, was arrested June 11 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) on felony charges of third-offense domestic violence and third-offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing: June 28 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Wheeler

-Brandon Paul Wheeler, 28, of 608 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was arrested June 7 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a citation for having an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle. Preliminary hearing: June 28 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Marshall

-Melissa Cecile Marshall, 37, of 3943 Potter Rd., Bear Lake, was arrested June 3 by MCSO on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs (OWI). Preliminary hearing: June 28 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000 personal.

-Bethany Nicole Ross, 25, of 163 N. Amber Rd., Amber Township, was arrested June 7 by MCSO on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Preliminary hearing: June 28 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

-Darica Marie Brooks, 18, of 143 N. Jebavy Dr., Apt. 20, Pere Marquette Township; June 9; Ludington Police Department (LPD); indecent exposure, using a computer to commit a crime, intentional dissemination of sexually explicit visual material, and assault & battery. -Melvin David Case, 46, of 165 N. Stiles Rd., Amber Township; June 9; MCSO; assault & battery. Pretrial: July 3 at 2 p.m. Bail: $3,500 personal.
