LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Shook

-Kevin Ryan Shook, 30, of 202 S. Rowe St., Apt. 2, Ludington, was arrested April 27 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on a felony charge of assault/resisting/obstructing police. Preliminary hearing: May 31 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000 personal.

Canales

-Jared Adam Canales, 48, of 2510 Pine Grove, Muskegon, was arrested May 15 by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and fourth-offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing: May 31 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000 personal.

Haynes

-Kristina Mackenzie Haynes, 37, of 608 5th St., Ludington, was arrested May 13 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on felony charges of first-degree retail fraud (shoplifting) and second-offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing: June 7 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

Jabrocki

-Peter Allen Jabrocki, 60, of 94 N. Meyers Rd., Amber Township, was arrested May 10 by Michigan State Police (MSP) on felony charges of alter/forge/falsify vehicle documents, operating an unregistered vehicle and failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance). Preliminary hearing: May 31 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

-Kenneth Michael Rocco, 63, of 2968 N. George Ln., Hamlin Township; May 12; LPD; operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OWIL) and careless driving. Pretrial: June 12 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Timothy Virgil Amburgey, 50, of 1728 E. Hansen Rd., Custer Township; May 15; MCSO; operating a vehicle with a high blood alcohol content, operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI), and carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence. Pretrial: June 19 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

-Evan James Robison, 18, of 909 S. Madison, Ludington; May 13; MCSO; operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor underage blood alcohol content between .02-.07, minor in possession of alcohol and failure to report an accident. Pretrial: June 5 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Melinda Ann VanDerZanden, 33, of 86 N. Michigan Ave., Shelby; May 11; MSP; second-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: June 12 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $7,500 cash/surety.

-Armando Rocha, Jr., 42, of 6827 N. 126th Ave., Apt. 6, Hart; May 12; (MCSO); third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: June 5 at 9:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

-Elijah Alexander Shively, 22, of 303 E. State St., Scottville; May 6; Scottville Police Department (SPD); possession of marijuana. Pretrial: June 5 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Harley Boone Sheldon, 23, of 4689 N. Sherman Rd., Hamlin Township; May 14; LPD; possession of marijuana and disorderly person – prowling. Pretrial: June 5 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Melanie Sue Babcock, 36, of 615 W. US 10-31, Amber Township; May 9; MCSO; operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: June 26 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-William Leland Sirks, 68, of 3812 W. Pine View Ct., Ludington; May 5; MCSO; OWI. Pretrial: June 12 at 11 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Will Allen Wiegand, 28, of 501 N. Washington Ave., Ludington; May 11; MSP; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance). Pretrial: June 5 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500 personal.
