LUDINGTON — The 17th annual Lake Jump will be held this Saturday, April 8, at 11 a.m. at Stearns Park beach. This year’s benefactor is the Mason County Sports Hall of Fame and its planned Sports Center. The sports hall of fame was founded in 2004 as a way to honor, enshrine, recognize, and educate the community regarding the outstanding athletic achievements of Mason County’s local athletes and contributors to sports. The new Sports Center is proposed for downtown Ludington at the intersection of Ludington Avenue and Harrison Street and will replace the hall of fame’s current home at Historic White Pine Village.

For more information about the jump go to www.lakejump.org.

The alternate date for the jump is April 22.

If you are unable to go to the Lake Jump, you can watch it live at www.facebook.com/masoncountypress.
