BRANCH TOWNSHIP — A 38-year-old Branch woman was arrested Wednesday night, Feb. 15, by Mason County sheriff deputies in the 100 block of South Stephens Avenue after the suspect reportedly struck a male victim with a fan and curling iron and then pulled out a knife, threatening the victim, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene at 11:47 p.m. after authorities received a 911 call reporting an “unwanted person with a knife,” Cole said.
The woman is facing charges of felonious assault and domestic violence, the sheriff said.
