LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in 79th District Court:
– Tina Ann Rose, 36, of 608 E. Tinkham Ave., Ludington, pleaded guilty Jan. 31 to domestic violence and was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 60 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with victim; no drugs/alcohol; and $360 in fines/costs.
– Blake Allan Petrick, 21, of 202 W. Maple Ave., Scottville, pleaded guilty Jan. 31 to two counts of attempted assault/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served, one year discretionary jail for one year; must have community mental health (CMH) evaluation and follow recommendations; and $875 in fines/costs. A charge of domestic violence was dismissed.
– Dakota Isiah Ramirez, 22, of 3677 S. Pere Marqette Hwy., Lot 14, Summit Township, pleaded guilty Jan. 31 to domestic violence and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; Soberlink for six months; no drugs/alcohol; must have substance abuse evaluation; and $665 in fines/costs. A charge of interfering with an electronic communications device was dismissed.
– Thomas Leroy Rees, 28, of 5988 Sixth St., Pere Marquette Township, pleaded guilty Jan. 17 to second-offense operating while impaired (OWI) and was sentenced to 35 days in jail with credit for five days already served; one year discretionary jail for two years; must complete impact weekend; Soberlink for 12 months; must attend AA two times per week for two years; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and drug tests; complete substance abuse counseling; and $1,430 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).
– Rita Lee Johnson, 35, of PO Box 604, Manistee, pleaded guilty Jan. 31 to false pretense more than $200 and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail for two years; no drugs/alcohol for two years; $1,315.58 in restitution; and $775 in fines/costs. A charge of financial transaction device-steal/retain without consent was dismissed.
