79th District Court sentencings.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in 79th District Court:
– Benjamin Thomas Sanchez, III, 21, of 4698 S. M-37, Baldwin, pleaded guilty Jan. 24 to operating while impaired by a controlled substance and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victims impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); subject to random drug tests; must obtain substance abuse counseling; and $935 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). A charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed.
– Mark Kevin Grams, 58, of 3299 N. Jebavy Dr., Hamlin Township, pleaded guilty Jan. 24 to marine safety – operating while under the influence of liquor (OUIL) and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for six days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victims impact panel; must not operate a boat for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $1,070 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.
– David Scott Roller, 29, of 7531 E. Decker Rd., Branch Township, pleaded guilty Jan. 24 to operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served, 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victims impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must obtain substance abuse counseling; and $1,175 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of operating with a blood alcohol content of .17 or more was dismissed.
– Michael Patrick Parinello, 57, of 402 E. Danaher St., Ludington, pleaded no contest Jan. 24 to distributing a controlled substance and was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for five days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; driver’s license suspended for 180 days and restricted for 150 days; and $795 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of delivery/manufacture marijuana was dismissed.
-Shannon Marie Wagner, 45, of 704 1/2 E. Filer St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Jan. 26 to disorderly person – public intoxication and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 30 days discretionary jail for six months; six months of probation; and $285 in fines/costs.
– Jon Howard McKinley, 50, of 408 First St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Jan. 27 to possessing fish without a license and was sentenced to pay $250 in fines/costs.
– Alex Robert Papes, 84, of 3069 E. Michigan St., Free Soil, pleaded guilty Jan. 23 to improper license plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Fines/costs were suspended.
Dismissals
– Douglas Alan Roberts Edens, 27, of 163 Taylor St., Manistee, had a charge of receiving and concealing stolen property less than $200 dismissed without prejudice on Jan. 25. According to court records, “Co-defendant took sole responsibility for this matter.”
– Katlin Marie Hammond, 23, of 976 E. Fulburn Rd., Custer Township, had a charge of receiving and concealing stolen property dismissed with prejudice on Jan. 23.
