March for Life is Sunday.

#RightToLife.

LUDINGTON — Mason County Right to Life and St. Simon Respect Life will hold a Silent March for Life and memorial service on Sunday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. at Community Church, 109 N. Harrison St.

The memorial service, with guest speaker Susan Stace, will begin at 2 p.m. followed by the march at 2:30 p.m. The march will begin at the church, go to the Mason County Courthouse, and then return to the church’s social room where pizza and refreshments will be served. A free will offering will be taken to benefit the billboard campaign.

The event is held on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, which coordinates with the date the Supreme Court, made a landmark 7-2 decision in the case of Roe vs. Wade (Jan. 22, 1973) essentially legalizing abortion in the United States. As a result of the case, the Court deemed abortion a fundamental right under the Constitution.
