LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in 51st Circuit Court:

Charles Clayton Rose, Jr., 38, 497 S. Tyndall Rd., Branch Township, was found guilty by a jury on June 29 to first degree criminal sexual conduct, second degree criminal sexual conduct, accosting a child for immoral purposes and using a computer to commit a crime. He was sentenced to serve 11 years 3 months to 75 years in prison, lifetime electronic monitoring, and $462 in fines and costs.

Andrew Lawrence Barrette, 53, 105 W. Melendy St., Ludington, pleaded guilty on July 19 to operating while intoxicated third-offense and operating under the influence of liquor. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for three days already served, must serve four months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion, to be placed on electronic monitoring immediately, 60 days of community service, 12 months of probation, and $1,308 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State. As part of a plea agreement, the prosecutor dismissed charges of operating with a suspended license and habitual offender second-offense.

Travis Michael Wahr, 29, 1980 Lincolnwood Rd., Hamlin Township, pleaded guilty on July 19 to domestic violence and domestic violence third-offense. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 120 days already served, must serve six months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion, 24 months of probation, and $658 in fines and costs. As part of a plea agreement, the prosecutor dismissed a charge of assault by strangulation.

Juliana Ruby Quiroz, 18, 814 W. Chase Dr., Charleston, South Carolina, pleaded guilty on July 27 to receiving and concealing stolen firearms and third-degree home invasion. She was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 117 days already served, must serve six months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion, 36 months of probation, $596 in fines and costs, and $16,693.04 in restitution. Restitution is joint and several with co-defendants. As part of a plea agreement, the prosecutor dismissed charges of first-degree home invasion and felony firearms.

Marlon Derrick Adams, 50, 14325 Minock St., Detroit, pleaded guilty on July 27 to delivery of less than 50 grams of a controlled substance and habitual offender fourth-offense. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 69 days already served, 18 months of probation, and $658 in fines and costs. As part of a plea agreement, the prosecutor dismissed charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Jonathan Sherro Soloman Jones, 24, 709 E. Filer St., Ludington, pleaded guilty to possession of a dangerous weapon – brass knuckles, absconding bond, and attempted assault by strangulation. He was sentenced to serve two to five years in prison and $1,114 in fines and costs. As part of a plea agreement, the prosecutor dismissed charges of assault by strangulation, domestic violence second-offense and habitual offender second-offense.
