Gail Marie Lyons, 59, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Spectrum – Butterworth Hospital of Grand Rapids.

Gail was born to Mary (Popma) DeWitt and the late Howard DeWitt.  She attended Spring Lake High School and graduated with the class of 1975.

Gail married Michael Lyons on June 18, 1976 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake. Her hobbies included ceramics, painting, and watching Djuma Wild Safari Drive.

Gail is survived by her loving husband Michael Lyons and son, Paul Lyons.  Sisters Sandy (William) Shafer and Barb Holmes. Sister-in-law Mary (Bill) Kuehle and brother-in-law; Bill (Robin) Lyons and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Howard Dewitt, father-in-law David Lyons Jr., and mother-in-law Lilymae Lyons.

There will be a memorial service held for Gail at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington at 1 p.m. on Monday March 28, 2016, with Father Wayne Wheeler officiating.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at noon.
