LUDINGTON — A blood drive will be held at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital on Thursday, November 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The blood drive is open to the public as well as hospital employees.
The blood collection event will be conducted by the hospital’s blood supply partner, Michigan Blood, in the classrooms on the lower level. The most convenient parking and entrance is on the north side of the hospital off Lawndale Street. Other than national emergencies, 100 percent of blood donated through Michigan Blood stays in Michigan to help local patients.
Appointments are encouraged, but not required. Information on donating or volunteering is available by calling Michigan Blood at 866.MIBLOOD(866.642.5663) or at www.MIBLOOD.ORG.
