Ludington woman receives jail time for drug charges

LUDINGTON — A 23-year-old Ludington woman was sentenced to serve eight months up front of a one-year discretionary jail sentence Tuesday, Sept. 15, in 51st Circuit Court for convictions of two felony counts of controlled substance, possession on school property – narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams, and maintaining a drug house.

Brooke Elizabeth Streeter, of 207 S. Washington Ave., was arrested March 25 by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT), and she pleaded guilty to all three counts last month.

Streeter was given credit for 175 days served in jail. She was ordered to serve two years probation, and her driver’s license was suspended for six months with a restricted license after 30 days.
