LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in 79th District Court:
- Timothy Carl Taylor, 36, 3930 E. Main Street, Fountain, was found guilty on Sept. 3, 2015 of driving while license suspended (DWLS). He was ordered to pay $285 in fines/costs.
- Roger Allen Hernandez, 40, 191 N. Bonnie St., Ludington, was found guilty on Aug. 31, 2015 for failure to report an accident. He received 90 days discretionary jail for up to one year, serving 2 days, and ordered to pay $325 in fines/costs.
- Joshua Michael Mead, 36, 988 N. Astor, Baldwin, was found guilty on Aug. 26, 2015 for malicious destruction of a building. He received 1 year discretionary jail for up to 12 months and fined $738.
- Daniel John Horowski, 32, 916 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington, was found guilty on Aug. 27, 2015 for failure to display a valid license. He was fined $275.
- Jason Matthew Fox, 30, 608 E. Dowland St., Ludington, was found guilty on Aug. 26, 2015 for disorderly person/disturbing the peace. He received 90 days discretionary jail for up to 12 months, serving 2 days, and fined $803.
- Lee Daniel Rasmussen, 44, 5813 W. Iris Road, Pere Marquette Township, was found guilty on Aug. 28, 2015 for domestic violence, second degree. He received one year discretionary jail for up to two years, serving 30 days up front, and fined $1,425.
- Gerald Robert Jacobs III, 30, 1675 W. Conrad Rd., Amber Township, was found guilty on Aug. 26, 2015 for attempted assault, resisting, obstructing a police officer and assault and battery. He received the following sentence: 1 year discretionary jail for up to 2 years, serving 2 days, for attempted assault, resisting, obstructing a police officer and 93 days discretionary jail for up to 2 years for assault and battery. He was also fined $998.
- Chelsea Kay Carlson, 23, 1645 S. Victory Corner Road, Riverton Township, was found guilty on Aug. 25, 2015 for operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor. She was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for 1 year, serving 2 days; must attend victims’ impact panel; must attend alcohol highway safety education and fined $870.
- James Less Lacko, 67, 2510 N. Lakeshore Dr., Hamlin Township, was found guilty on Aug. 25, 2015 for operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for 1 year, serving 2 days; must attend victims’ impact panel; must attend alcohol highway safety education and fined $1,070.
- Leeallen Chester Bates, 44, 2142 W. Hansen Road, Amber Township, was found guilty on Aug. 25, 2015 for attempted or failure to comply with Michigan sex offenders registration act. He was sentenced to 1 year discretionary jail for up to 1 year, serving 2 days and fined $738.
- Tamara Lynne Bonham, 53, 5309 W. Fox Road, Mears, was found guilty on Aug. 25, 2015 for OWI and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail time for up to 1 year, serving 1 day; she must attend the victims impact panel and alcohol highway safety education and pay $870 in fines/costs.
- Staffan Thomas Boettcher, 25, 409 N. Rath Ave., Apt. 3, Ludington, was found guilty on Aug. 27, 2015 for failure to display a valid license. He was fined $275.
- Christel Eve Spencer, 29, 3099 N. Tuttle Road, Custer Township, was found guilty on Aug. 27 for illegal disposal of solid waste and fined $185.
- Walter George Vanoostendorp, 28, 250 Elizabeth Dean, Lowell, was found guilty on Aug. 25, 2015 for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and sentenced to 1 year discretionary jail for up to 12 months, serving 7 days; also a substance abuse evaluation and a fine of $535.
- Edward John Robson, 23, 4645 Midland Dr., Pickney, was found guilty on Aug. 25 for impaired driving and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for up to 1 year, serving 1 day; must attend victims’ impact panel and alcohol highway safety program; $870 fines/costs.
- Valerie Christine Wilson, 52, 3340 N. Halls Lane, Hamlin Township, was found guilty on Aug. 26, 2015 for attempted assault, resisting or obstruction of a police officer and disorderly person, drunk. She was sentenced to 1 year discretionary jail for up to 12 months for attempted resisting and 90 days discretionary jail for up to 12 months for disorderly, serving 1 day for each count. She must also have a substance abuse evaluation and pay $833.
- Carlos Martin Lopez, 23, 512 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty on Aug. 25 for attempted assault, resisting, obstruction of a police officer, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and passenger with open intoxicants. He was sentenced to 1 year discretionary jail for up to 2 years for the first count and the same for the second, serving 120 days in jail for each the first two counts and 90 days in jail for the third; license suspended for 180 days and restricted for 150 days; $498.
- Jamus Joseph Johnson, 36, 605 W. Lincoln Ave., Ionia, was found guilty on Aug. 26, 2015 for domestic violence and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for up to 12 months in the Ionia County Jail with work release if it meets the jail’s policy, serving 21 days up front; $978.
- Daniel Andrew Doucette, 33, 1201 S. Madison Ave., Ludington, was found guilty on Aug. 26, 2015 for disorderly person, intoxicated in public and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for up to 12 months, serving 1 day; $285.

- Daniel Delgado-Bernal, 20, 3276 Edgewater Ave., Apt. 2B, Holland, case dismissed on Aug. 31, 2015 for DWLS first offense.
- Joshua Michael Mead, 36, 988 N. Astor, Baldwin, dismissed Aug. 26, 2015 for malicious destruction of a building of $1,000 or more and less than $20,000.
- Jason Matthew Fox, 30, 608 E. Dowland St., Ludington, dismissed Aug. 26, 2015 for assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault), domestic violence.
- Gerald Robert Jacobs III, 30, 1675 W. Conrad Rd., Amber Township, dismissed Aug. 26, 2015 for two counts of assaulting, resisting, obstructing a police officer and malicious destruction of personal property.
- Jamus Joseph Johnson, 36, 605 W. Lincoln Ave., Ionia, dismissed on Aug. 26, 2015 for child abuse third degree and domestic violence.
