LUDINGTON— A 21-year-old Victory Township man pleaded guilty in 51st Circuit Court Tuesday, Aug. 4, to felony counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC); accosting children for immoral purposes; and possession of child sexually abusive material stemming from the sexual assault of a young girl last summer.

Sebastian Allen-Leroy Chandler testified Tuesday that he touched a girl’s breasts, who was under the age of 13 at the time, and that he also possessed a provocative picture of a child under the age of 16.

Chandler was arrested last March by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, initially charged with two felony counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC), which carries a maximum life sentence. Second-degree CSC is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

The incident was reported Aug. 4, 2014, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole at the time of the arrest. Chandler lived at the victim’s Victory Township residence and is a non-family member, the sheriff said.

Sentencing is set for Sept. 8 at 1:30 p.m.
