Surface Expressions expands products, services with new showroom.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Tim Husted has been in the countertop business for many years. He used to sell Corian countertops from the Mackinac Bridge to Grand Rapids, but got tired of being on the road. On Thursday, June 25, his retail location and showroom, Surface Expressions, will hold an open house at its Jebavy Drive location.

Tim has operated a fabrication shop and showroom known as Ludington Granite on First Street near the Ludington Industrial Park for several years. “Customers have always been welcome there but they pretty much get to see all our dust,” Tim said. “Our new location is strictly a showroom and a place to meet with the customer one on one.”

Surface Expressions, located at 215 N. Jebavy Drive, is much more than just granite. “I have many years of experience working with Corian and Zodiak granite countertops. But, we do a lot more,” Tim said. Surface Expressions can also custom build cabinetry. They can also fabricate from a variety of materials including wood and plastic.

“We turn out everything from high density arm chairs to acrylic table tops to percussion instruments.”

“We are certified fabricators/installers of natural stone, quartz surfacing and solid surface materials. Our customers include home owners, kitchen and bath dealers, building contractors, architects, remodelers, and general contractors throughout west Michigan.”

The open house will be from 4 to 8 p.m. with a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. It will include wine and cheese tasting and a special of 10% off of countertops and cabinets.
