The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for portions of southwest lower Michigan including Mason and Oceana counties. There is an enhanced risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon through the evening. Several rounds of thunderstorms are likely with the first round this afternoon and more this evening.

There is a chance of large hail with an isolated tornado and an increased potential for widespread damaging winds. The primary storm motion will be east with speeds over 50 mph.
