Sheriff: driver cited in crash, warrant sought

HAMLIN TWP. — A 45-year-old Ludington woman was cited for disregarding a stop sign, and a warrant is being requested for no security/no insurance following a two-vehicle crash that resulted in injuries at Lincoln and Decker roads Thursday, June 11, at 12:36 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The woman and her 23-year-old passenger were both injured after she failed to stop for a stop sign while southbound on Lincoln Road and collided with an eastbound vehicle on Decker Road, Cole said. The driver of the second vehicle was uninjured.
