Police handle assaults, disputes

The following is local law enforcement activity June 2, 2015:

– 1:10 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), unwanted person call, 1500 block of W. Countyline, Grant Twp., services rendered.

– 12:06 p.m., (Michigan State Police, Hart post), family civil dispute over property, 6000 block of E. Decker Rd., Branch Twp.

– 1:37 p.m., (MCSO), fail to report crash, Decker and Lanager, Branch Twp., subject crashed his vehicle between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m., however the crash was not reported until 1:37 p.m. by a passing motorist. A 22-year-old Fountain man was cited as a result.

– 1:44 p.m., (MSP), assault, 3000 block of N. Taylor Rd., Sheridan Twp.

– 2:45 p.m, (MCSO), warrant arrest, 6600 block of E. Borowski, Sheridan Twp., a 23-year-old Wellston woman was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Manistee County.

– 3:04 p.m, (MCSO), a 23-year-old Fountain woman was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, US-10 and Pere Marquette Hwy., PM Twp.

– 4:24 p.m., (MSP), civil dispute over a car, 1000 block of S. Stephens Rd., Branch Twp.

– 11:55 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), assault, 600 block of E. Tinkham Ave.
