Male body found in PM River

LOGAN TWP. — The Michigan State Police along with the Mason County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Pere Marquette River in Logan Township Friday night were they recovered a male body. 

According to a press release from Hart Post of the Michigan State Police, the body had been found in the river and does not appear to be a recent death.

An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Monday. Life EMS assisted at the scene.

More information is expected Monday.
