Doggiepalooza event to be held in August.

LUDINGTON — Lakeshore Animal Friends will hold a Doggiepalooza event on Aug. 22 at Central Bark, the Ludington dog park located at Cartier Park.

The event, which will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., was approved by the city council during its Monday, April 27 meeting. The event is a fundraiser for the group’s spay and neuter programs.

The council stipulated that the organization will need to limit the amount of signs it places in the city’s right-of-ways to two signs per block. The organization will also not be allowed to place signs on utility poles and other sign posts and must follow the city’s sign ordinance.
