Judith Hansen

Judith Carol Hansen, age 75 of Ludington passed away on February 25, 2015 at her home.

Judith was born on December 12, 1939 in Ludington, the daughter of the late Axel and Dorothy (Smith) Johnson. She attended Ludington High School and graduated with the class of 1957.

On May 12, 1962 Judith married Dennis James Hansen at Bethany Lutheran Church in Ludington and they spent 53 loving years together.

Judith was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Ludington. She loved spending time with her family and friends especially her granddaughter Lauren. She enjoyed traveling with Denny.

Judith is survived by her husband, Dennis Hansen; daughter Amy (Jason) Williams; granddaughter, Lauren Mae Williams who was the joy of her life; brother, Roger (Pat) Johnson, numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister and brother-in-law, Dolores (Elwood) VanderVeer.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in the spring.

Memorial contributions in Judith’s name may be directed to the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Ludington.
