Obit: Judy Ann Sorensen, 67, Custer.

Judy Ann Sorensen aged 67 of Custer, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Tendercare of Ludington. Judy was born on June 24, 1947 in Ludington, the daughter of Earl and Florence (Bailey) Standish, and married Ronald Sorensen on February 5, 1977 at Bachelor Church in Fountain. They have celebrated 38 years together.

Judy loved being around her family, especially during the holidays when she would decorate her home for each occasion and enjoy their company. She was preceded in death by here parents, and her sister Ardith Empie.

Judy will be greatly missed by her husband Ronald, her brother Earl (Kathy) Standish of Walhalla, her brother-in-law Scott Empie also of Walhalla, her sisters-in-law Kathy Rosencrans of Custer, Janice Bailey of Tallman, Mert Tyndall of Branch, and Dolores (Tim) Timmons of Coloma, Wisconsin, her aunt Eileen Knowles, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held for Judy at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 4 at the Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville. Burial will take place at Tallman Cemetery in the spring. Friends may meet with her family for a time of visitation on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Those who wish to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the care of her family.
