2 arrested for repeat suspended license violations

MASON COUNTY — The sheriff’s office made two separate arrests recently for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS).

The following is recent MCSO activity:

Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015:

– 8 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Lakeshore and Abrahamson, Hamlin Twp.

– 8:24 a.m., a 30-year-old Branch man was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop, US-10 and Gordon, Amber Twp.

– 10:43 a.m., a 25-year-old Fountain man was arrested for second-offense DWLS following a traffic stop, US-10 west of Benson, Branch Twp.

– 10:04 p.m., alarm activation, 6300 block of Bryant, Pere Marquette Twp.

Friday, Jan. 23, 2015:

– 2:52 a.m., a 27-year-old Scottville man was arrested for second-offense DWLS following a traffic stop, US-10 and Jebavy, PM Twp.
