‘Belligerent’ woman tries to kick out police car window

LUDINGTON — A 44-year-old Ludington woman was arrested Saturday, Jan. 17, at 2:19 a.m. for resisting and opposing police and attempted malicious destruction of police property at the intersection of Loomis and Delia streets following a traffic stop by the Ludington Police Department.

The female, who was a passenger in the vehicle, “reportedly became belligerent and attempted to kick the back window out of a Mason County Sheriff’s Office patrol car,” according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. “She then reportedly assaulted an LPD officer and resisted a county deputy.”

12:47 a.m., a 24-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding Manistee County warrant for failure to appear for a show cause hearing for an operating while intoxicated charge, in the Walmart parking lot, PM Twp.

– 2:19 a.m.,  a 21-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a statewide Friend of the Court  warrant out of Osceola County following a traffic stop by MCSO in the Game Stop parking lot, PM Twp.
