Branch Grocery robbery suspect arrested in Muskegon County.

MUSKEGON COUNTY — A 41-year-old Muskegon man has been arrested for the Dec. 12 robbery of the Branch Grocery store in Mason County’s Branch Township. The man was arrested at a residence in Muskegon Township after a search warrant was executed by members of the Michigan State Police Emergency Services Team.

According to a press release from Michigan State Police, the man was arrested without incident and will be lodged in the Mason County Jail. His name is being withheld pending arraignment.

The store, located on East U.S. 10 about half mile west of the Mason-Lake counties line, was robbed by gunpoint in the early evening last Friday. Two clerks were working in the store at the time.
