PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — Two suspects were arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office in separate, bizarre incidents Wednesday, Dec. 10.
The first arrest occurred at 11:40 a.m. in Walmart, in the 4800 block of W. US-10, after deputies responded to a report of a “person huffing” in the building. During a pat down of the 23-year-old subject (no city listed), deputies found a can of nitrous “keyboard duster.” He was arrested for probation violation.
The second arrest occurred at 3:50 p.m. following a traffic stop at US-10 and Jebavy Road. A 38-year-old Ludington man was found in possession of several “rocks” of crack cocaine upon being booked into the jail for driving while license suspended (DWLS), second offense, and parole violation. He is now also facing charges of cocaine possession and introducing contraband into a corrections facility.
