SCOTTVILLE — Over 200 people attended the 23rd annual Scottville Optimist Club’s senior Thanksgiving dinner Sunday afternoon at the Optimist Community Center. Almost 30 volunteers helped with the event, including employees of Mason County Central schools food service who volunteered their time to prepare the meal. Other volunteers included Scottville Boy Scout troop members and leaders along with Scottville Optimist Club members. Music was furnished by John Marek and friends. Much of the food was purchased at Shop-N-Save at a discounted price.
