November 20, 2014

LUDINGTON — Sandcastle’s Children Museum recently received a donation of $438 from the employees of West Michigan Community Mental Health. The funds were raised by the employees during casual dress days. This is the third year Sandcastles has been selected for the donation.

According to a press release from Sandcastles, the funds will be applied toward renovating exhibit space in the museum’s upstairs ballroom.

The release further stated that Sandcastles Children’s Museum is committed to providing the community with a hands on activity center that encourages children and families to learn and grow together.  The exhibits are designed to stimulate kids’ curiosity, unleash their imaginations, and encourage interaction between children and adults. The museum has many different interactive exhibits and offers many special programs and presenters during the year that provide new and exciting learning experiences for our children.
