LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

Bentz

– Benjamin Michael Bentz, 33, of 202 Fourth St., Ludington, was arrested Nov. 7 by the Ludington Police Department (LPF) on four felony counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) – victim under 13/defendant 17 or over. A preliminary exam is set for Nov. 19 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $75,000/cash.

Guzman-Barrera

– Javier Guzman-Barrera, 41, of 4948 S. Pere Marquette Highway, Ludington, was arrested Nov. 8 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) on three felony counts of second-degree CSC. A preliminary exam is set for Nov. 19 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $35,000/10 percent.

Currier

– Kimberly Rae Currier, 38, of 409 Second St., Ludington, was arrested Nov. 8 by LPD for a felony of first-degree retail fraud. A preliminary exam is set for Nov. 19 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

Piehl

– Nicholas James Piehl, 20, of 303 W. Pere Marquette Highway, was arrested Nov. 9 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of second-offense possession of marijuana. A preliminary exam is set for Nov. 19 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

Cobb

– Jeffrey Ruric Cobb, 51, of 408 N. James St., Ludington, was arrested Nov. 6 by the State Sheriffs Chiefs Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for a felony of controlled substance, delivery/manufacture of marijuana, and habitual offender, second offense. A preliminary exam is set for Nov. 19 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Bell

– Laurie Lynn Bell, 50, of 408 N. James St., Ludington, was arrested Nov. 5 by SSCENT for two felony counts of controlled substance delivery. A preliminary exam is set for Nov. 19 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Macarthur

– Scott Samuel-Ray MacArthur, 19, of 314 ½ William., Ludington, was arrested Nov. 3 by LPD for a felony of second-offense possession of marijuana. A preliminary exam is set for Nov. 19 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Austin William Buchholz, 19, of 2716 E. Johnson Rd., Custer, was arrested Nov. 5 by LPD for a misdemeanor of assault and battery. A pretrial is set for Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– William Bailey Leeke, 45, of 821 Lake Ave., Racine, Wisc., was arrested Nov. 6 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended (DWLS). A pretrial is set for Nov. 17 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Michael John Bardos, 60, of 988 N. Reek Rd., Custer, was arrested Nov. 6 by DNR – Cadillac for a misdemeanor of wildlife conservation – general violations. A pretrial is set for Nov. 24 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Russell William Coolman, 48, of 3744 S. Masten Rd., Branch, was arrested Nov. 1 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Kyle Anthony Cogle, 22, of 1542 E. Filburn, Scottville, was arrested Nov. 6 by DNR – Cadillac for misdemeanors of wildlife conservation – taking deer/bear/turkeys and taking a protected animal. A pretrial is set for Nov. 24 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– J. Charles Smith, 38, of 5847 E. Decker Rd., Fountain, was arrested Nov. 6 by DNR – Cadillac for misdemeanors of wildlife conservation – taking deer/bear/turkeys and taking a protected animal. A pretrial is set for Nov. 24 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Andrew Joseph Chapman, 22, of 5847 E. Decker Rd., Fountain, was arrested Nov. 6 by DNR – Cadillac for two misdemeanor counts of wildlife conservation – general violations. A pretrial is set for Nov. 24 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Raymond Harold Snay, Jr., 48, of 881 E. Townline Rd., Free Soil, was arrested Oct. 31 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance – possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Nov. 12 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Laurie Lynn Bell, 50, of 408 N. James St., Apt. 3, Ludington, was arrested Nov. 5 by LPd for a misdemeanor of third-degree retail fraud. A pretrial is set for Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Clare Olin Baird, 66, of 6265 N. Larson Rd., Fountain, was arrested Nov. 3 by MCSO for misdemeanors of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) and operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Nov. 24 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Amy Lynn Knudsen, 37, of 784 N. Stiles Rd., Ludington, was arrested Nov. by the Hart post of the Michigan State Police (MSP-H) for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for Nov. 17 at 11:30  a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Wendy Lou Griffin, 41, of 308 W. Court St., Apt. 2, Ludington, was arrested Nov. 7 by LPD for a misdemeanor of third-degree retail fraud. A pretrial is set for Nov. 17 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Michael Ryan Albaugh, 25, of 6728 N. Woodbridge Rd., White Cloud, was arrested Nov. 7 by MCSO for misdemeanors of operating while intoxicated and DWLS. A pretrial is set for Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– David Raymond Reed, 55, of 1713 W. Kinney Rd., Scottville, was arrested Nov. 8 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of DWLS. A pretrial is set for Jan. 12 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Ted William Hendricks, 51, of 10664 Gast Rd., Bridgman, Mich., was arrested Nov. 8 by DNR – Cadillac for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Dec. 1 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Jonathon Michael Tyndall, 21, of 100 S. Wildwood Dr., Apt. 23, was arrested Nov. 7 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Nov. 24 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
