SCOTTVILLE — Ginger and Matthew Schneider have created a little bit of a sizzle in downtown Scottville. Late last month they opened G&M Burgers and became the newest restaurant in town.

They wanted to keep the menu simple and affordable. “We moved into Scottville a year ago and got tired of now having anywhere to go for a quick burger that is affordable,” Ginger said, taking a break for a moment. “That’s why we did it.”

“We want to offer food like what people used to get: good food that they can afford,” Matt said.

Ginger is originally from Scottville and graduated from Mason County Central High School. Matthew grew up in Ludington. They said they each have worked in the restaurant industry over 25 years. They also said they are excited about doing business in Scottville.

“We’re happy to be in Scottville and looking forward to growing our business here,” Ginger said. Matt added the business offers daily specials and will be available for private parties.
