Ludington man dies in Lake County crash.

WEBBER TWP. (Lake Co.) — A Ludington man died Sunday morning as a result of a traffic crash on U.S. 10 about 8 miles east of the Mason County line. According to reports, the crash occurred about 10:30 a.m. near Peacock Trail, about 1 mile from the intersection of U.S. 10 and M-37.

U.S. 10 between Tyndall Road (the Mason/Lake counties line) and M-37 was closed for several hours following the crash. It involved a westbound pickup truck that apparently lost control and struck a Dodge Durango. The man driving the pickup truck, who was from Ludington, was pronounced dead on the scene. The two people in the Durango, one from North Muskegon and one from Montague, were transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital by Life EMS ambulance.
