MSP investigating canoe larceny

SHERIDAN TWP. — The Hart post of the Michigan State Police is investigating a larceny of a canoe that was reported Tuesday at 4:58 p.m. in the 6000 block of North Larson Road.

MSP also responded to the following incidents in Mason County on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014:

• 4:36 p.m.: landlord/tenant dispute, 100 block of Stevens Rd., Branch Twp.

• 7 p.m.: two-car accident, Darr and Chauvez roads., Custer Twp. (see related story here).

• 9:50 p.m.: civil dispute: 600 block of Dowland St., Ludington.
