On Thursday the annual Scottville Harvest Festival begins. This three-day festival is a Mason County tradition that goes back to the early part of the 20th century. As a kid growing up in the Scottville area, it was always something we looked forward to. The festival was created as a way for the merchants to say thanks for the Mason County agricultural community.
