Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office made five arrests over the weekend, including two for drunk driving, two for stealing and one for a parole violation. The activity of the office for the weekend of Sept. 12, 13 and 14, 2014 included:
Sept. 12:
– 3:16 p.m.: An 18-year-old Walhalla woman received a citation for no operating license and improper plates following a traffic stop.
– 5:03 p.m.: Two car crash no injuries, Pere Marquette Highway and Iris Road, Pere Marquette Twp.
– 5:38 p.m.: Four car crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 at Pere Marquette Highway, P.M. Twp.
Sept. 13
– 2:57 a.m.: A 42-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for OWI on Jebavy Dr. near Rasmussen Rd., P.M. Twp.
– 8:44 a.m.: Two car crash, U.S. 10 at P.M. Hwy, P.M. Twp. No injuries.
– 9 a.m.: Larceny of tires, Root’s Tire, U.S. 10-31, Amber Twp. Tire located, charges pending on 20-year-old Marion, Mich. man.
– 9:30 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Jagger and Lincoln roads, Hamlin Twp.
– 5:45 p.m.: Gas drive off, Wesco Eastgate, U.S. 10, P.M. Twp. Vehicle owner located and returned to pay.
Sept. 14:
– 2:10 a.m.: A 50-year-old Ludington man was arrested for OWI following a traffic stop on M-116 in the Ludington State Park.
– 5:19 a.m.: A 24-year-old Cedar Springs man and a 20-year-old Grand Rapids man were arrested for stealing alcohol at Wal-Mart, U.S. 10, P.M. Twp.
