LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

Stempien

– William Joseph Stempien, 43, of 896 Cheyenne Dr., Coldwater, was arrested Aug. 31 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for felonies of criminal sexual conduct (CSC), fourth degree, and possession of analogues. A preliminary exam was Sept. 10. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety.

– Bradley Allen Stever, 46, of 702 N. Rath Ave., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 3 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of first-degree home invasion and domestic violence. A preliminary exam is set for Sept. 17 11:15 a.m. Bail: $15,000/10 percent.

– Robert Anthony-Wolever Newcom, 33, of 6670 E. US-10, Walhalla, was arrested Sept. 7 by the Hart post of the Michigan State Police (MSP-H) for felonies of interfering with an electronic communications device; second-offense domestic violence and habitual offender, third conviction. A preliminary exam is set for Sept. 24 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $10,000/personal.

Griffin

– Wendy Marie Griffin, 52, of 3763 S. Pere Marquette Hwy., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 6 by MCSO for a felony of operating under the influence liquor (OUIL), third offense, and driving while license suspended (DWLS). A preliminary exam is set for Sept. 17 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

Horowski

– Daniel John Horowski, 31, of 916 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 7 by LPD for a misdemeanor of second-offense possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Sept. 17 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety.

Misdemeanors

– Elmer Owen-Allound Harvey, 43, of 7141 E. Martin Rd., Fountain, was arrested Aug. 31 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of assault and battery. A pretrial is set for Sept. 22 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Bryan Alan Miller, 25, of 4535 N. 68th, Hart, was arrested Sept. 10 by

MCSO for misdemeanors of operating while intoxicated and transporting an open intoxicant. A pretrial is set for Oct. 6 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Roy Terry Chapman, 52, of 6265 S. Hogenson Rd., Scottville, was arrested Sept. 10 by LPD for a misdemeanor of larceny $200 or more. A pretrial is set for Oct. 6 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Terri Lee Walkley, 46, of 8472 N. Custer Rd., Free Soil, was arrested Sept. 4 by MSP-H for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Kaleigh Mae Bothee, 21, of 134 Timmer Dr., Sparta, was arrested Aug. 30 by MSP-H for a misdemeanor of DWLS. A pretrial is set for Sept. 9 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

– Matthew Joseph Stock, 22, of 918 E. Fulburn Rd., Scottville, was arrested Sept. 2 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for Sept. 22 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Joel Christopher Savich, 29, of 7019 E. Stolberg Rd., Fountain, was arrested Sept. 6 by MSP-H for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for Sept. 29 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Randall Lee Monroe, 55, of 220 E. Melendy St., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 7 by LPD for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for Sept. 29 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Stanton Lyle Haner, 59, of 922 E. Tinkham, Ludington, was arrested Sept. 8 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Sept. 29 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Kaitlyn Carmleita Lopez, 18, of 205 N. Rath Ave., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 4 by LPD for a misdemeanor of third-degree retail fraud. A pretrial is set for Sept. 22 at 9:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.
