Aug. 29

– 8:30 a.m.: Single vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and Sugar Grove Rd., Sherman Twp. Scottville Fire Dept. also responded.

– 4 p.m.: Gas drive off of $10, Ludington EZ Mart, 5900 block of West U.S. 10, Pere Marquette Twp.

– 4:35 p.m.: Malicious destruction of property, 400 block of South Mills St., Village of Custer. Mailbox, garbage can and street sign damaged.

– 4:45 p.m.: Assist to Scottville Fire Dept., medical call, 100 block of West Dewey Rd., Victory Twp.

– 5:03 p.m.: Two vehicle crash with injuries, Maple and Tamarack streets, Hamlin Twp. Three people were treated at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Hamlin Fire Dept. and Life EMS ambulance also responded.

– 8:35 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Campbell and Anthony roads, Logan Twp.

– 11:10 p.m.: A 42-year-old Scottville man was arrested for driving while licence suspended second arrest following a traffic stop at Meyers Rd. and First St., Pere Marquette Twp.

Aug. 30

– 10:55 a.m.: MDOP, Timber Surf Campground, 6500 block of East Dewey Rd., Sheridan Twp. Tires damaged.

– 3:54 p.m.: One vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 expressway near Pere Marquette Hwy. overpass. P.M. Fire Dept. also responded.

– 4:48 p.m.: Criminal sexual conduct arrest, Cable Rd., Custer Twp. See related story.

– 8:20 p.m.: A 22-year-old Fountain man was arrested for DWLS first arrest following a traffic stop at Reek and Millerton roads, Sherman Twp. A 31-year-old Branch woman, who was a passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Lake County for failure to appear, original charge of dangerous drugs.

– 11:24 p.m.: A 36-year-old Scottville man was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated first arrest following a traffic stop at Stiles and Johnson roads, Amber Twp.

Aug. 31

– 2:37 a.m.: A 40-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a criminal bench warrant at the intersection of Ludington Ave. and Harrison St. in the City of Ludington. The woman was walking down a sidewalk and the deputy recognized her, aware of the two outstanding warrants: a criminal bench warrant from Scottville Police Dept., original charge of DWLS and a criminal bench warrant charge from Michigan State Police of tampering with telecommunications. She was lodged at Mason County Jail.

– 5 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Hansen and Rasmussen roads, P.M. Twp.

Sept. 1

– 12:46 p.m.: One vehicle crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 east of P.M. Hwy, P.M. Twp.

– 5:05 p.m.: Larceny of medication, 1500 block of Countyline Rd., Grant Twp.

– 7:02 p.m.: A 43-year-old Branch man was arrested for assault in the 7100 block of East Martin Rd., Branch Twp. Deputies were responding to a disturbance call.

– 11:05 p.m.: Assist to Ludington Police Dept., disturbance, 300 block of North Robert St., City of Ludington.
