Branch woman arrested for fighting.

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 27-year-old Branch woman early Friday morning on two charges of assault. At 2:32 a.m., deputies were called to a reported fight in the 5700 block of Limouze Rd.

The following was activity of the sheriff’s office for Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014:

– 6:15 a.m.: Alarm activation, 4300 block of West Dewey Rd., Hamlin Twp.

– 6:32 p.m.: A 41-year-old Ludington man was arrested in the 6700 block of Virnetta Dr., Pere Marquette Twp., for a probation violation. Deputies initially responded to a disturbance call. Upon arrival, the man was found to be intoxicated and in violation of his probation terms.

– 7:55 p.m.: Retail fraud, Meijer, U.S. 10-31, Amber Twp. A warrant has been requested for the arrest of a 35-year-old Fountain woman.

– 11:27 p.m.: A 42-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault in the 2500 block of West Beyer Rd., Victory Township, following a 911 call from the residence.
