Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office responded to several larceny complaints and a couple assault complaints Monday. Here is the activity of the sheriff’s office for Monday, Aug. 25, 2014:
– 9:41 a.m.: Traffic assist, U.S. 10 and Pere Marquette Hwy., Pere Marquette Twp. Traffic control following a power failure, resulting in the traffic light not working.
– 11:50 a.m.: Alarm activation, 7800 block of East Hawley Rd., Logan twp.
– 1:09 p.m.: Larceny from a building, 4700 block of East Hansen Rd., Custer Twp. Chainsaws taken.
– 2:22 p.m.: Larceny from a vehicle, 400 block of North Tuttle Rd., Custer Twp. Handgun taken from vehicle.
– 3:25 p.m.: Three vehicle crash, no injuries, U.S. 10-31 and Brye Rd., Amber Twp.
– 3:35 p.m.: Larceny of a cell phone, Mason County Fairgrounds, P.M. Twp.
– 5:56 p.m.: Disturbance, 100 block of North Gay St., City of Scottville. Reported fight.
– 7:27 p.m.: Assist to Ludington Police Dept., City of Ludington.
– 7:48 p.m.: Disturbance/assault, Alpine Dr., Branch Twp. Report sent to prosecutor’s office for review.
– 8:44 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and U.S. 31, Amber Twp.
– 11:50 p.m.: Reported assault, 700 block of North Stiles Rd., Amber Twp. Report sent to prosecutor’s office for review.
