WSCC Rec Center closing for maintenance

VICTORY TWP. — West Shore Community College’s Recreation Center will be closed for summer maintenance beginning Mon., August 25 through Tues., Sept. 2.

The Wellness Center, weight room, and gym areas will re-open on Wed., Sept. 3. The pool and locker rooms will remain closed until the current remodeling project is complete.

The Recreation Center staff is currently offering those who are 60 or older and live within the WSCC district an opportunity to purchase, until Sept. 30, the “Forever Senior II” one-year membership for $156.  The “forever” rate will continue as long as a consecutive membership is maintained.

The community is also invited to attend “Reconnect with the Rec” during Community College Week, Sept. 15 – 19.  Free tours and use the Rec Center will be offered on Sept. 17. The event will also provide an opportunity to learn more about the facilities and services provided by the staff.
