Fountain man arrested for third DWLS

CUSTER — Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 54-year-old Fountain man Tuesday at 3:50 p.m. for driving while license suspended, third arrest. The arrest took place following a traffic stop at Main and Sanders streets.

Other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014 included:

– 1:07 a.m.: Suspicious situation, 2800 block of North Lena, Hamlin Twp.

– 2:24 a.m.: Assist to Ludington Police Dept., 700 block of Ludington Ave., City of Ludington.

– 4:47 p.m.: Two vehicle crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Nelson Rd., Pere Marquette Twp.

– 6:26 p.m.: Retail fraud, Meijer, 3900 block of West U.S. 10-31; warrant requested for a 25-year-old Ludington woman.

– 7:36 p.m.: Two vehicle crash, no injuries, Marrison and LaSalle roads, Riverton Twp.
