79th District Court arraignments

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

– Nicholas Allan VanVleet, 31, of 602 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was arrested July 11 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for two felony counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC), under 13. A preliminary exam is set for July 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $10,000/personal.

– Donnie Dean Francis, 38, of 8578 E. US-10, Branch, was arrested July 11 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of operating while intoxicated, third offense, and one count of driving while license suspended (DWLS). A preliminary exam is set for July 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $10,000/cash/surety/10 cash. One felony count of operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL), third offense, was dismissed July 9. “Defendant’s motion for dismissal is granted in part without prejudice,” court records state. “Bond/bail is continued on the remaining charges.”

Misdemeanor

– Christopher Wayne Bailey, 41, of 308 E. Court St., Apt. 7, Ludington, was arrested July 10 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of breaking and entering a vehicle. A pretrial is set for Aug. 4 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Chad Donald Wojciechowski, 38, of 2132 Isle Dr., Standish, was arrested July 5 by LPD for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for July 28 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Evan Lee Fargo, 31, of 7267 Juanita Ave., Ludington, was arrested July 5 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated, second offense. A pretrial is set for Aug. 4 at 10 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Peter James Sagan, 41, of 1011 Monona Dr., Ludington, was arrested July 5 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of DWLS. A pretrial is set for July 28 at 11 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

– Shae Welch Rondell, 27, of 411 N. Ferry St., Ludington, was arrested July by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for July 28 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Joseph Verne Cunningham, 49, of 4468 N. Stiles Rd., Scottville, was arrested July 11 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Aug. 11 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Bradley Alan Mann, 21, of 4669 E. Borowski, Fountain, was arrested July 10 by LPD for two misdemeanor counts of aggravated assault. A pretrial is set for Aug. 4 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Jenna Diane Myers, no address listed, was arrested July 12 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of second-degree retail fraud. A pretrial is set for July 28 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Michael Brandon Donahue, 31, of 1101 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, was arrested July 13 by LPD for a misdemeanor of second-offense domestic violence. A pretrial is set for Aug. 11 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Robert Vincent Bahr, 46,of 2907 W. Conrad Rd., Ludington, was arrested July 11 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for Aug. 25 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Jerome Lamer Latimer, 27, of 915 E. Maple St., Ludington, was arrested July 11 by LPD for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for Aug. 4 at 3 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent. He was arrested the following day, July 12, by LPD for a misdemeanor of DWLS. Pretrial date is the same as previous day’s arrest. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.
