Motorcyclist crashes bike, charged with operating on drugs

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 46-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies Friday afternoon after the man crashed his motorcycle at Pere Marquette Hwy. and Sixth St. The man was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs and for not possessing a cycle endorsement.

July 11, 2014:

– 12:32 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and Fountain Rd., Victory Twp.

– 12:35 a.m.: A 49-year-old Scottville man was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at Stiles and Decker roads, Amber Twp.

– 1:09 a.m.: Found property, Lendale and Curtwood area of Juniper Hills subdivision, Pere Marquette Twp. Deputies responded to a “suspicious situation” call — a car alarm sounding. During the investigation, numerous items were located and were believed to have been taken from vehicles.

– 11:59 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, P.M. Hwy. and Sixth St., P.M. Twp.

– 12:12 p.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and U.S. 10, Amber Twp.

– 8:43 p.m.: A 38-year-old Branch woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated third arrest, U.S. 10 and Landon Rd., Branch Twp.

July 12, 2014

– 2:40 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Gordon Rd., Amber Twp.

– Noon: Larceny, 5000 block of East Sugar Grove Rd., Sheridan Twp, trailer jack stolen.

– 1 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Rasmussen and Meyers roads, Amber Twp.

– 1:20 p.m.: Gas drive off of $36.94, 5400 block of West U.S. 10, Airport EZ Mart, P.M. Twp.

– 4:34 p.m.: Gas drive off of $72.99, 5600 block of West U.S. 10, Wesco, P.M. Twp.

– 12:37 p.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, on injuries, P.M. Hwy. and Conrad Rd., P.M. Twp.

– 5:19 p.m.: Hit and run crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Brye Rd., Amber Twp, 38-year-old Ludington woman was cited for hit and run following the investigation.
