79th District Court arraignments

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Magistrate:

Felonies

– Benjamin Lee Towers, 37, of 707 N. Lavinia St., Ludington, was arrested July 3 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of fleeing a police officer, third offense. A preliminary exam is set for July 16 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $15,000/cash/surety.

– David Melvin Kloss, 35, of 489 W. 2 Mile Rd., Baldwin, was arrested July 7 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of operating under the influence liquor, third offense, and one count of driving while license suspended (DWLS), second offense. A preliminary exam is set for July 16 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Scott Douglas Klinger, 48, of 1731 Independence, Scottville, was arrested July 4 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) for a misdemeanor of DWLS. Bail: $1,500/10 percent. Klinger was arrested July 6 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of DWLS. Bail: $2,500/10 percent. A pretrial is set for July 28 at 10:30 a.m.

– Derick Robert Marcott, 19, of 2084 E. Sherman Rd., Linwood, Mich., was arrested July 4 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for July 28 at 11:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Thomas Michael Grimm, 23, of 1950 S. Scottville Rd., Scottville, was arrested July 4 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Aug. 4 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Bertha Nada-Marie Lauber, 37, of 1444 N. Custer Rd., Custer, was arrested July 3 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for July 21 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Michael Wayne Smith, 74, of 273 6th Ave., Apt. 201, Manistee, was arrested June 27 by the Michigan State Police, Hart post (MSP-H) for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. A pretrial is set for July 28 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Charles Robert Scribner, 62, of 306 S. Main St., Scottville, was arrested June 12 by LPD for a misdemeanor of assault and battery. A pretrial is set for July 21 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Autumn Lynn Schwab, 35, of 3065 N. Reek Rd., Custer, was arrested July 4 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. A pretrial is set for July 21 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Dylan Von Gordon, 19, of 630 S. State Rd., Lagrange, Ind., was arrested July 4 by MCSO for misdemeanors of operating while intoxicated and DWLS. A pretrial is set for July 28 at 2 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Andrea Mae Johnson, 37, of 823 N. Benson Rd., Fountain, was arrested July 3 by MCSO for misdemeanors of operating with a blood alcohol content and OWI – occupancy under 16. A pretrial is set for July 28 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Benjamin Lee Towers, 37, of 707 N. Lavinia St., Ludington, was arrested July 3 by LPD for a misdemeanor of domestic violence, second offense. A pretrial is set for July 14 at 10 a.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety.

– Chevelle Marie Sandusky, 48, of 11600 Yellowstone St., Detroit, was arrested July 5 by MSP-H for misdemeanors of emergency telephone service and disorderly. A pretrial is set for July 21 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Justin David Argue, 27, of 1868 N. Benson Rd., Fountain, was arrested July 3 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for July 28 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Nathaniel Patrick Mohr, 20, of 1340 Rosenberg, Kalkaska, was arrested June 28 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. A pretrial is set for Aug. 11 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Kelly Michael Scharich, 41, of 2085 E. Townline Rd., Free Soil, was arrested July 3 by MSP-H for a misdemeanor of assault and battery. A pretrial is set for July 21 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.
