Mason-Oceana 911 has scheduled four public meetings to present information regarding the August 5, 2014 ballot new millage request for 0.14 mils for 6 years. The meetings will feature a 1 hour presentation highlighting 911’s day to day operations and a discussion of future funding. Audience questions will be encouraged.
“Few people see or understand what we do inside Mason-Oceana 911. We are a critical piece of the public safety response puzzle that few people ever see.”, said Director Ray Hasil. “The meetings will give a comprehensive look inside Mason-Oceana 911 with time dedicated to 911 funding and our budget plans for years 2015-2017.”
Two meetings are scheduled in each county. The meetings in Oceana County are Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Hart Area Public Library and Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Grant Township Hall in Rothbury.
There are also two dates scheduled for Mason County: Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Mason County District Library Ludington Branch and Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Custer Fire Department.
Members of the 911 Board will also be in attendance at each meeting.
