Fountain woman arrested for drunk driving, child neglect

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — Mason County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 37-year-old Fountain woman for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, first offense with a high blood alcohol level (super drunk) along with child endangerment early this morning. The arrest took place during a traffic stop on Johnson Road near Nelson Road at 1:03 a.m. During the stop deputies discovered two small children sleeping in the back seet. The suspect is lodged in the Mason County Jail.

– 4:38 p.m.: Two vehicle rear end crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and U.S. 31 expressway, Amber Twp.

– 9:55 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and Conrad Rd., Amber Twp.

– 10 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Scottville and Chauvez roads, Custer Twp.
